The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa...

Series: Iron Fey (Book #2)
Published: August 1st 2010 by Harlequin Teen
Pages: 359
Rating: 5 stars

Synopsis:

Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan has never fit in anywhere. Deserted by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows that the real danger comes from the Iron fey—ironbound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. But no one believes her. Worse, Meghan's own fey powers have been cut off. She's stuck in Faery with only her wits for help. Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can't help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart.

Review:

This book was AMAZING even though I had sky high expectations for it as "The Iron King" was so good. I did also read the in-between short story for this book which was called "Winters Passage" (I will post a link below) which I also thought was really good and even though it is not nessassary to read it I would still highly reccomend you do as it gives you a deeper understanding of the start of "The Iron Daughter" and also reasons behind certain things. The things that happen in this book are really good and the character of Meghan i thought is still really relateable. The storyline in this book I also found to be highly entertaining and there are a lot of unexpected things that happen in this book. Overall this book is definitley a Must-Read and if you haven't picked up "The Iron Fey" series yet, you definitley need to, this series could well be one of the best series you will read all year.

"The Iron Queen" (Iron Fey #3) is set to release February 1st 2011 by Harlequin Teen
